The "Club del mare" offers courses in windsurfing and sailing.
In Diano Marina there are two shops specializing in surf/skate: "Forzasette and "Mare Sport" In Imperia, outside of the summer seasons, the beach "Sabbia D'Oro" is an important centre for windsurfing and kite surfing, and it accommodates an important event : the "Windfestival". In the most turbulent days, it becomes a great spot for surfing. For water-skiing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, contact the Port of Diano Marina (1 km from the hotel), where you can also rent jet skis. For diving, we indicate you: Eurosub. Trekking and Caving
The Gulf of Diano Marina has different trails practiced throughout the year. The park of "Ciapà", the trenches of Napoleon, the remains of the ancient Roman Road... ask for information at the reception desk. About twenty minutes by car, there are the beautiful trails near Laigueglia and Colla Micheri. From Porto Maurizio (Imperia, 20 minutes by car from the hotel) you can walk the "ViaMarenca", ancient "Via del Sale" (The Old Salt Road-Location for the Raid Off Road) that connects Limone to the Ligurian Sea.
This road winds on the ridges of the Ligurian mountains, among the ruins of ancient settlements and battle places. You should contact the Italian Alpine Club, section of Imperia, to know the most fascinating trails. Swimming
The hotel offers our clients, the pool of sea water, about 15 meters long. In front of "San Bartolomeo al Mare", 50 meters from the hotel, have recently been constructed some dams that create a channel in the sea, along several hundred meters, where swimming with little waves. And you can use the public swimming pool "Cascione" in Imperia Porto Maurizio (20 minutes by car)
Horse riding
A "Dolcedo" just above Imperia, you can find the riding stables "Mulino Martino" (tel +39 0183 280782) that it offers lessons and spectacular excursions in the surrounding valleys. Several other riding stables little further away (ask at reception).
Golf
In Albenga (15 minutes by highway and 10 minutes by road) is the renowned Golf Course "Garlenda". There are also many other Golf Courses like: Castellaro Golf (Castellaro) and the "Circolo Golf degli Ulivi" (San Remo)
Sailing
In Diano Marina, the "Club del Mare" offers courses for all levels. Also for those who love sea, movement and nature, the Club organizes day trips with base in Sanremo. For sea lovers, exercise and nature, the Club organizes day trips based in Sanremo.
Karting
A few hundred meters from the highway exit Arma di Taggia (20 minutes by highway from Diano Marina) there are 600 meters of kart tracks. The kart tracks "Oleandri" offers Go Kart that it suits for children aged 5 and up, but also for the drivers like Schumacher, Max Biaggi, Michael Douan, Johnny Herbert, Clay Regazzoni, Heinz H. Frentzen, which often they run in this place.
